This is the first knot I tied when I decided to start doing knotwork.I do not recommend starting with something this complicated. I was pausing and rewinding the video a lot.

"Ashley's Book of Knots" by Christopher Ashley. This book was written in the 1940s and is still a very comprehensive source of how to tie knots.
